The only SSC product I still use and love is the Glycolic Cleanser.  But I won't buy (or pay the overpriced shipping fees!) from Evine.

Are there any good glycolic cleansers sold at the drugstore?

Alpha Skincare, formerly known as Alpha Hydrox, has a cleanser with a citric aha.  No, not exactly what you asked for but it gets high reviews and is budget friendly.  It can be found in some drugstores, larger supermarkets, and big box stores.  You can also order from their website.  For orders under $25, there is a flat shipping fee of $5.99.  Orders of $25 and above receive free shipping.

Re: SSC on evine - Just curious

Thank you, @Shelbelle and @JeanLouiseFinch.  I'm not sure why, but I really won't order from a TV shopping channel these days.  I've been burned by QVC too many times in the last couple years, I guess.  I feel the same about eBay.  Maybe it's just a passing thing, but I prefer to buy in person at a store.   I bought Alpha Hydrox products regularly for several years until our local stores stopped carrying the brand.   I'll keep looking locally.  Thanks!

Re: SSC on evine - Just curious

To be honest, I was never a fan of the SSC Glycolic Cleanser, I did not like the consistancy of it and to me it has a strange, sour smell to it. but, if I were to try it again, I would find it for a rock bottom price on ebay.

The shipping on Evine is out of control.  I had stuff in my cart and when I saw how much it would be for shipping, I logged out of the page.

I've been using a couple of different Serious Skincare products and have been pleased with them - even have some on auto-delivery.

I took a quick look and passed.  I will not pay those shipping charges.

Do the math.

Agree! It's been out of control for a long time. I've cut back my Evine purchasing at least 70% in the last year or so. I'm tired of shipping price and Evine not listening to their customers. Sadly I believe they will go out of business with their fingers in their stubborn ears. It's a bummer because some of the brands on Evine are great.

Re: SSC on evine - Just curious

online i have read some things that this line contains are definitley not good. too bad they dont have a botanical or natural line of products, even if they keep the skincare they sell now.

@SandGirl

I bought a few things on the SSC first Evine appearance.  It was a kit that included Glycolic Gommage Facial.

While I like the facial, I doubt I will repurchase.  It is hard for me to see any real improvements in using these products.

And, I need to use up what I have + high shipping = buying nothing right now.

Re: SSC on evine - Just curious

I used to enjoy watching SSC when they were on HSN. Since they changed to Evine, I have maybe watched a couple shows only and haven't bought anything. They used to have some nice kits and free shipping with HSN. I'm trying to buy less so no skincare line is getting much of my money lately.
