Wow!!!    Buy me beauty is a great site, and they had my product, but NOT in the color I'm looking for.   Thanks for the recommendation, though!

Oh, sorry.  Disappointing.

Re: SOURCES FOR DISCONTINUED BEAUTY PRODUCTS?

When you searched on ebay did you do a "save this search" on the lipstick you wanted? That way they email you the day one is listed and you get first crack at it if it is a buy it now. I have scored quite a few of my fave lipgloss/lipsticks (also discontinued of course) this way. I check every morning first thing and pounce if one is listed. Good luck!

If you purchase a disc. product from one of these sites, how can you be sure what you are buying is not OLD product?

Exactly! My first concern would be how long ago the product was discontinued. If a product has been discontinued for so long that it isn't still listed on ebay or Amazon, I would assume it was an old product, possibly very old product. If not old product, then definitely fake product Particularly with a product used on or near the lips (or eyes). I would be concerned that oils had gone rancid, preservatives were no longer effective or other changes in the ingredients had occured over time.

Re: SOURCES FOR DISCONTINUED BEAUTY PRODUCTS?

So far I have ordered 24 of my discontinued lipstick.  Due to this thread checked my supply last night and reordered again this morning.  Nary a bad one in the bunch.  Honestly.  Keep in a bedroom closet in a box and all is well.

Sadly Ojon has just about disappeared,  Many of the faithful have bought and hoarded what is left!  (I am one of them).  Sometimes it can be found on Ebay.  I wonder what the tribe of "people with the beautiful hair" are doing now.?  Apparently Ojon oil is not being sold anymore.
