However, seeing these many microdermabrasion devices on the market up close and personal and just what these 'tips' are made of, which are no more than small cut pumice stone pieces, why not then use just that, pumice stones or mild sandpaper even, gently on our faces? The suction aspect for removal of the dead skin cells accompanying these devices can just as easily be accomplished by washing with either a washcloth or clarisonic, no?
Perhaps an aestetician or dermatologist might know the negative effects?
