Is any one using Ivermectin cream generic for Soolantra for rosacea? Soolantra is very expensive and about $845. but with Good RX and using Ivermectin (generic) at one pharmacy I saw it is $94.00.
Silly me paid almost $200.00 at Walgreens. But one can go to to CVS next time and if you use use Good RX can probably get it for $95.00.
I really like this moisturizing cream that treats actinic pimples, roacea and redness. It works with V-Beam laser of course in tandem. V-Beam is not that expensive either.
I have finished round 2 with V Beam. It is not painful and works like a charm. Results come instantly, very little down time.
Forget the IPL laser for rosacea as it does not work nor does it for redness. It's difficult to find V-Beam but I found one. I'm happy.
Between Ivermectin cream and V Beam finally I found as great dermatologist.
I am due for another round but going on vacation. So I will wait.
By the Way V-Beam is "PDL" meaning pulsed dye laser. It treats those with port wine stains and more.

I left out quite a bit, sorry. Rosacea is a mite called "demodex".
This is your main cause -- Demodex. Don't worry, it is not contagious for anyone.
It affects blepharitis causing dry eye if it is realy bad as well. I could go on and on but won't.

Ivermectin for your face. Never heard of it. We've only useed ivermectin for dogs and cows. Interesting. I hope it works for you. I don't have any redness or hyperpigmentation.

Neither do I. It is a "mite". It lives on us all but some have more of them which leads to redness.
It's on all humans including your dogs.
I don't have hyperpigmentation either. We all carry demodex, not contagious though.
Just stating facts. I was just curious as you wear and or purchase so many concealer's for your skin constantly.
So I'm sure it is porcelain. I would love to see a picture.

Ivermectin is extremely poisonous to some breeds of dogs, Celtics-Bred related to Collies, so keep it well away from them. Don't let them lick skin where it's been applied.

haha, OMG @Kachina624 not to worry we are not going to lick any dogs or vice versa any time soon.
This is about humans. We carry the same mites just like dogs.
You are on the case again quick, ha, I love you!

It's also used as a de-wormer for horses.

This may sound silly/crazy but we have bought that cream from Costal farm store. I don't know if humans can use it?
Also, for curiosity sake I just goggled it and it looks like you can buy a .05% ivermectin cream OTC at Walgreens and other places....This may work too for about $34.00. (you probably already know about this)
I imagine dealing with Roseacea would/could be a nightmare . I've suffered all my life with eczema and just finally in the last 10 years or so figured out how to deal with it. Good luck!

I purchase a lot of all makeup products. I have more Foundation blush bronzer and lip glosses then I do concealers. I haven't purchased a new concealer since I bought the Natasha Denona concealer and the only place I wear it is under my eyes and to the outside of my eyes. You want to see a picture of me? Why? I have had a picture of my brother and Me on this forum since sometime in 2022.

@Pink123. This is not a joke. Ivermectin is an insecticide used in some heart worm meds and livestock treatments. It can be lethal to some dog breeds. Their owner's know to avoid certain heart worm meds like Heart Guard.
So sorry you consider it funny but animals have died after licking discarded containers of this stuff. Owners of certain breed are very cognizant of the danger.
