Hi ladies. Hope everyone had a nice Saturday. I have a small request for some good thoughts and prayers for today {Sunday} please. It's going to be a hard day for me, one that I'm not looking forward too and could use a little support. Me, my brother and his wife are going to be spreading some of Daddy's ashes. We're going to go to the family land -- our woods -- which is about 2 hours east of Nashville to spread them. We are having to sell the land to take care of daddy's debts and this will most likely be the last time we get to go walk the woods before the sale is complete. This is going to be so hard for both my brother and myself. One, letting go of the woods is just devastating to me but we have no choice, so I'm trying to make peace with it. But worst is spreading his ashes. Since the day we brought them home from the funeral home I have not even touched the box {much less open it} and tomorrow we have to open it and I'll have to face seeing them. Don't know how I'm going to handle that. We're going to spread some of them, some of them both he and I will keep and the rest will eventually be buried next to his mother and father at our family cemetary. We also have bought Fathers' Day cards for him and are going to leave them there in the woods. I have 3 cards for him, 2 from me and one from all the kitties to him. Saying goodbye to our beloved woods and Daddy all in one day is going to be so hard but my brother and I both need to do this.

Sorry, didn't mean to make this a long post. I'm sorry to ask but if any of you could just take a quick moment and say a small prayer for us in this difficult duty, I would truly appreciate it. I will let you all know how things went when I get back. Thank you and I do hope everyone has a good Sunday. I'm about to write in my cards to Daddy and then go to bed.
