I like this idea.

I'm going to try to not use a charge card at all. Most sites make it almost impossible to shop without charging. I should probably stop checking things like the lunchtime specials too. I just seem to fall for a very good deal, whether I need it or not. This is not going to be easy but it is necessary!

I'm in for sure!!!! Thank you.

That is a drastic cut. And good for you! It can be done, and probably the best way to make it happen is to stop watching, and visit this site less often.
Congrats!

I've organized and streamlined my things, but husband and I have varying perspectives on the subject of his and our things. I'm turning into a minimalist while he likes to collect a lot of stuff like sports memorabilia. It doesn't bother him to have a disorganized basement (80% his stuff) or garage (95% his stuff.) His closet and drawers are a mess. He has tee shirts from the 90s. He doesn't see this as a problem. Other than that -- he's a great guy and we get along well. But it bugs me....
Good luck to us all in 2015!
Our husbands are twins (except mine collects car related stuff). I feel your pain.

Hi mominohio. I tease my husband and tell him I'm going to put all this non-treasures (not junk to him, but it is to me) on the front lawn and place a sign -- FREE, OR BEST OFFER. This is his nightmare.
May the Force be with us!

3redheads, thanks for starting this thread! I intend to stop going to the mall and buying anything and everything I want. I realize DH and I are blessed, so I am going to stop and be grateful for the material things we already have and not to be constantly seeking "more". Also, I am going to start organizing and purging. Less is more! LOL
Have a great week all!
