Well, an update on my wardrobe purge. 10 garbage bags now donated and two for my husband. I just culled more shoes by putting on each pair and walking around my house to see if any of them hurt my feet or were outdated and old. Out they went. I need to cull my 8 lands end cardigans. They are xs I am now a small. That is going to hurt.

It was very scary at first to take all of the things that did not fit out of my wardrobe or items that were old or I would never wear again. But now I feel lighter and a lot better about it. Why do I need 8 of the same cardigans in 8 different colors? I only need two: one navy and one white or gray.

Simplifying is hard, but it gets better when you donate all of those items. Hopefully someone else will love them and find pleasure in them.

PS-You would not believe how many empty hangers I have now not to mention three huge plastic containers that were filled with clothes. Sheesh. I had a problem.

Dperry, I understand about the empty hangers! I have such a stack of them that it's kind of embarrassing. It's quite the visual lesson. ${#emotions_dlg.blush}$

I'm with you ladies regarding the hangers! I have a huge wicker basket full of them, plus there are many empty ones still in the closets. They are a sign of our good work!

Good morning everyone! Are we going to a monthly thread now? I saw people were still posting on this one as of yesterday, so I am just popping in here.

I have been busy continuing to declutter my spare room. We got rid of bags and bags of stuff. Yesterday I got in there and dusted, cleaned surfaces, and swept and mopped the floor.

There are still a few bags of clothing I need to get out of my house. They got bagged up, but are just sitting in my bedroom. I got distracted by my work in the other room, so I will try to get those out of here by this weekend.

As far as spending, I am still doing fairly well. My impulse spending is pretty much under control. When Skinn Cosmetics was on last week, I didn't even watch.

There is a Week 9 thread that is our last weekly one. We are starting our monthly thread next week at the beginning of the month.
