Following the trend of our best finds (makeup, skincare or both) for 2023, have you found products that make your list of favorite "best of"?
My list:
For skincare , I've discovered Kiehl's...moderately priced when have frequent sales. I've been using their Ultra Facial Moisturizer for day, their cleansing oil (lavender fragrance) and Kiehl's Vit. C serum. I also use their Avocado Eye Cream in the AM.
I continue with spf finds from DRMTLGY Tinted SPF on face and Untinted for neck and chest to protect skin and clothing. I still like CereVe for 2nd cleanse at night or a quick cleanse in morning if skin has residue of my thick night cream...Skinceuticals Triple Lipid 2:4:2 moisturizer at night and Skinceuticals A.G.E. Advanced Eye Cream at night. Of course, a few nights (in winter) of my Retin A.
Getting way too long, but 2023 winners for makeup:
My favorites are lipsticks from MAC and Chanel ( 20, at least, from BB bit the dust because they were all too brown or light for my now silver strands and fair skin). City Beauty Plumpling Glosses or full coverage lips. Tinted moisturizer? My BB one was discontinued and replaced w/ a serum type that is ?!?&*#!!!! So, had to hunt one down and yet to find a replacement. I'm using my corrector and concealer (MAC Prep and Prime, Nars Radient Concealer and a few others to do under eyes and spot conceal. Blush winner is RMS and also RMS Brow pencil and/or powder. If I use bronzer, for the 4th year, the winner is Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow...a light shade bronzer and a barely there highlighter. I run my brush across both and apply to cheeks right above my cheekbone...No contouring at my age since it started to seem "too done". If I do use foundation, I settled on Les Beiges and Sublemage Le Tint by Chanel....lightweight and enough shades to find a match. Still LM Translucent Blurring Powder. Winning liners for me are Urban Decay 24/7 for many years. Mascara go to is L'Oreal Voluminous.
Anyone else care to share their winners or losers for 2023?
