Since my hair has grown out to a longer bob (LOB?), I find that I still have to use a large barrel curling iron to touch it up and give it it some oomph until wash day.
Anyone have ideas what to do to "refresh" w/o using damaging heat every day until wash day?

@Shanus Hi Shanus, I spray a combination of dry shampoo and PuffMe by Kevin Murphy, tip my hair upside down and use a dryer on medium for a minute or so and it seems to work fine.

Shampoo my hair and style it every day. Can't stand to not shampoo hair every day. As a teen I fought w/my mother about this. She thought if I washed my hair every day I would get "sick". And at that time of the month,no bath. The fights went on and on till I moved out and was on my own.

I washed my hair every day when it was short. There wasn't any fixing that on day 2.
I have a bob and am amazed that it still looks good on day 2....with body and shape. I was never able to skip a day until I grew it out to a bob.
I use a 2.5" oval-barrel hair dryer/blower to shape (but not totally dry) the bottom half and let the rest dry on its own. I'm retired so I have time to let it dry on its own. Then I brush it all out and it's a perfect bob.
I can't stand to go more than 2 days. My hair seems stringy on the third day.

I use a little dry shampoo, turn my head upside down and use the blow dryer maybe 30 or 60 seconds. I need to wash by day 3. To you Wen ladies, can you really go a week?

Hair is fine and very frizzy without one drop of oil thx to the change!
So, it is styled in a bob, not shoulder length. Because of alopecia, I use rogaine foam which styles it.
The more I do the worse it looks...
so getting a blow dry once per week is all it needs...
because whatever way it is styled when wet is the way it stays,
Geiing caught in drizzle or rain..is a bummer.

@Shanus I use a little dry shampoo and hot rollers on 2nd or 3rd day hair to pump up the volume and curls without putting too much heat on it. Sometimes I brush my L'ange heated brush through my hair and flip up the ends to smooth out any frizz and add some bounce to my layered and feathered wavy haircut. I wake up each morning and look at my hair and then I take it from there 😊. I toss and turn a lot in my sleep, so some days I get a ton of great volume in my hair just from nightmares at night 😅😉.
