Hi all! Everyone has their favorite CC's that you use all the time, but do you all opt to have the others in your collection as well to rotate in every so often? I'm just wondering if it's worth it to have my faves in the larger bottles and then get some smaller bottles of the others and mix them in every so often. Anyone do this? Thanks!

Re: Rotating In Non-Fave CC's?

Yes. There are a couple formulas I couldn't use even in tiny concentrations mixed in with my favorites or my hair was terrible (POM, SAM, LAV, WKSB) so I gave those away. My hair doesn't love the soy formulas but I love the scents of the old seasonals and the 2 new seasonals I've tried, so I do mix them in with my FIG for first cleanse from time to time on my way to using them up. Basically through trial and error I have discovered that only FIG and CA work for my hair, so that's what I'll stick to from now on. Wink

Edited because I forgot the Wen Kids' Strawberry Banana was awful for my hair too Smiley Tongue

My gallons (so worth it): TT, SAM, 613

Smaller size add ins (when I want to): Seasonals, LAV, and BGT

My faves are TT, 613 and Fig. I have a Lav that my hair and skin dislike. I keep it next to the TT so I can mix it in with the others, but that never, ever happens.

Re: Rotating In Non-Fave CC's?

Arianny, I use smaller bottles whenever possible because I rotate so many of the CCs in and out.

I have my TT, CA, LAV & 613 all in the 6oz or 5oz. styling creme bottles. I put a heart sticker on each of these bottles so that I can tell them apart from the occasional real bottle of styling creme that I still have. The 613 SC I now use is in a 2oz. bottle of SC, so that makes it a bit easier. All 7 Seasonals that I rotate in and out are in the bathroom cabinet in their original 16oz. bottles. It would be too confusing to try to rebottle them. When I cleanse my hair, I just take out the Seasonal Of The Day, and then put it back after I'm finished.

I keep the TT, CA, 613 CCs (and the 2oz. 613 SC and mousse) by my shower for easy access.

Re: Rotating In Non-Fave CC's?

I always buy the December Seasonals TSV which always include the POM CC these days. I really dislike the POM scent though it works fine on my hair. I used to rotate the POM in but, eventually, I realized that I was just counting down the days until the POM CC would be finished. Well, that was no fun so I decided to just hold the POM aside for trading... which turned out to be a much better and happier choice for me!!!

Re: Rotating In Non-Fave CC's?

I ran low on Wen Tea Tree this morning. I mixed Tea Tree and Lav for my first cleanse, since I didn't have enough Tea Tree for all the pumps I needed.

I am impressed with the results! I recently got a very short hair cut. Between the style and the volume that Lav adds, I am really loving this. Before I got my hair cut, Lav made me look...poofy. Now, it's nice!

That is a reason to revisit CCs!

Re: Rotating In Non-Fave CC's?

I don't usually mix in CCs that I don't like, although I have taken to trying them for my second cleanse, to see if they work better depending on what I used for the first cleanse.

More often, I use them as body wash.

And what was UP with the rogue poster? Gosh. Get a life, right?
