I read in today's Allure newsletter that the Duchess of Cambridge uses it. Specifically the brand Trilogy.
Yes I fall for that stuff sometimes. I have my "girl crush" female idols and she's one of them when it comes to beauty and fashion.
So I ordered this one from Amazon. Rosehip oil is said to be good for aging, inflammation, and discoloration. I have very dry skin.
1. something oz bottle for 32. I think it was around 32, was super early when I ordered. Trilogy has a cream too, saw that on Amazon.

I've never used Trilogy, but Shea Terra makes an excellent Rose Hips oil. In fact, their entire collection of rose hips (including the items which are blended with other ingredients) is very good. I truly like using their Rose Hips Face Cream as my neck cream. It's thick and rich (too much so for my face daily), but is perfect for my drier neck and decollete. Shea Terra's Rose Hips oil sells for around $30 for 2 ounces.

As a rule, Rosehip Oil (pure oil) is higher in linoleic acid,
which is a 'lighter' oil for those with acne-prone skin.
Hope it works w/ your dry skin, tho.

I have used an Organic Rosehip SEED Oil for about a year. Really like it. It's good for problem skin....it is full of Vitamin A so pay attention if you also use a retinol product. I find that it's light and quickly absorbs. Key words to look for is "organic" and "seed" when buying. Triology's description has both. I may order this brand the next time I reorder.....after all, Princess Kate can buy the best.

I've been using RHSO for many many years now. It remains my favorite individual oil and I've tried pretty much all of them (marula, tamanu, argan, baobab, maracuja, yangu, cranberry, seabuckthorn, etc). I have drier skin and find RHSO the perfect balance for my skin. I also use some on a dried, clean mascra wand to apply to my lashes to keep them long and healthy and on my nails an it has helped keep my nails from breaking and being brittle. I can actually grow them out longer when I use it consistently.
I have tried several brands over the years ,, from cheaper to more expensive but my favorite is still Shea Terra Organics. I've been using that one on and off for several years. I just like everything about that one- the very faint, delicate scent that doesn't irritate my nose or eyes and the fact that it is organic and cold pressed. It just seems to work the best for me.

I must say, I am loving this stuff. No clogged pores or breakouts, and I feel it plumps up my skin and makes it moist all day. I only use it at night. I use it on my neck too.
I've never tried argan oil or any other oils. But so far I'm a believer in the Trilogy rosehip.
