@JeanLouiseFinch  - Thanks for letting me know re the CS.  Just now decided to try out putting on my mascara first and then applied the eyelight Luster.  It worked pretty well doing it that way.  Have no other makeup on so I probably look a little odd but that's ok.  I am being a test model for a new way to apply mascara!  HAHA

LOL. I'm trying it tomorrow.

Re: Rose-Marie of RMS Beauty Tutorial

@JeanLouiseFinch - call me weird, odd, silly whatever, I don't care.  I have so many eyelights and with all the ones I ordered today, realized that a lot of the reasons I don't gravitate to them much is because I can't tell nor do I remember what the shade is.  Even with the tube being the color.  Made a list of all the eyelights that I have including the new ones I odered and went to RMS website and wrote down the shade description.  This way at least I have a list to look at instead of opening each one to try and find the shade I want.

Re: Rose-Marie of RMS Beauty Tutorial

Hi @JudyL ! I really enjoyed the YouTube video! Rose-Marie and Gabi are great together. I never knew Rose-Marie was from Canada.

I also watched the "over 50 mistakes" one. At first I was disappointed, but they did pick it up.

I don't watch influencers. My first experience turned me off. I watched a girl who was reviewing a recent QVC makeup TSV (I can't remember which brand it was.) I spent the first 15 or 20 minutes watching her open the box. Then she took each item out, one at a time and looked it over. I didn't have time for that! I had hoped she would be able to review the contents of the box without all of the other stuff! She eventually got around to reviewing the products.

Then I went to a beauty event where influencers were supposed to help us. They were very young, and they spent most of the time on their phones. "I" knew more than they did!

That was it! I decided I'd get more help here! But when you posted about the video today I had to watch.

I thought Gabi was an influencer at first, but I heard Rose-Marie call her a makeup artist.

I wasn't sure about the second one at first. Why the giveaways? And it seems like you have to pay to have your question answered. Who gets the money and what is it used for? At first Gabi spent a lot of time greeting people who were logged in, but finally she stopped. The commercials interrupted them and I watched the countdown clock to start again.

I did learn a lot from both videos!  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom  - There was a 2nd video?  I didn't see that.  Will have to go check it out.  Maybe I stopped watching the first one too soon.

@JudyL - The second one cut off right before the end. It's Rose-Marie and Gabi again. They each do one side of ther face the wrong way and one side the right way. It's helpful and entertaining.

The video is designed for women over 50 - mistakes we make.  Smiley Happy

@ccassaday  Hi ..  I wrote to RMS several times about powder shadows similar to the blushes and the last time was told it's coming soon.

I'll be watching for them with interest, @nyc1, especially since it's the same formula as the blushes and bronzers (no talc).  I appreciate how RMS products are multi purpose. The bronzers work as eyeshadows, a couple of the  powdered blushes will too.  I also use the brow powders as eyeshadows and the dark one as eyeliner.

@JudyL   For sure Rose Marie knows her stuff about products and most importantly application.

Great tutorial!  I was surprised that Rose Marie does the mascara first.  I always do it after the eye makeup.

@JeanLouiseFinch  - I was surprised at that also.

@JudyL  @JeanLouiseFinch   If using cream shadow it won't fall down on lashes, so mascara first is fine. Powder shadows fall onto lashes and make mascara application dusty looking. With powder eye shadow I always did shadow first and mascara second.
