I've tried Rose Hip Oil on my face a few times. Every time I use it I break out. I've tested this to see if the oil is what was causing the breakouts, and it is. I think it's too heavy for my skin, or I'm sensitive to it or something. I was very disappointed!

Rose Hip Oil is not to be used by people that are prone to acne or have oily skin.  Just a heads up.

You can just it on the rest of the body, just not your oily face.

My face is really dry, which is why I thought it would be good. I just must be sensitive to it.

You may be able to dilute it in some of your moisturizer to cancel the reaction, which could be because you are using it full strength.  You may only need a little of it.

I am using Aura Cacia RoseHip oil with vitamin E.  Since I am such a novice about all the oils I bought a book by Valerie Worwood should help alot with my many questions.

@JuLee  I haven't tried Rose Hip Oil, but my skin is unable to tolerate Argan Oil, Maracuja Oil, and some other oil (can't recall the name at the moment).  My skin doesn't really break out from the oils, but it becomes irritated and also dry when I've tried the oils.  I do have very, very sensitive skin, but thought I'd give Argan and the other two a try.  I've wanted to try Rose Hip Oil, but won't because of my experience.  Wish I could, as I've read great things. Hope diluting the Rose Hip, as someone mentioned, works for you.  So many products I'm unable to use!
