Has anyone used the Alterna Root Touch-Up A234221? It's a new product for color treated hair where your roots grow in with some gray. I've seen the root touch-ups by Revlon & Clairol, but those are used on wet hair and need to be shampooed out. The Alterna is used on dry hair and lasts until your next shampoo. I have medium blonde highlights in my medium brown hair, but my roots are growing in as medium brown with maybe 30% grays. Since it's very expensive to have my hair highlighted every 6 weeks to conceal the roots, I'm wondering if a root touch-up like this Alterna could extend my time between salon visits and save me some money.
