Is one better than another and has anyone found either effective?

For me there is no difference, except the price. I have taken both kinds.
Lipowheat is the trademark name for wheat phytoceramides and one of the very few companies, that I could find, who make ceramides from wheat. I believe that might be one big reason why wheat ceramides cost so much more than the alternatives. Lipowheat seems to dominate the market for this kind of supplement.

Actually the others are made from rice and sweet potatoes.
