Revlon Red Lipstick Labeled Warm,Cool Or Neutral

I was in CVS and they had a display of there new red lipstick and it said are you a warm,cool or neutral and this interested me because I think this is a fabulous idea. And the color was dead on perfect for my skintone which is warm and they had a terracotta  which was labeled warm.

I wish they would do this with more of there products as it makes it so much easier for the buyer such as myself. I hate buying products that  you love the color in the tube and get it home and it looks horrible on you.

My skin is very pale (Mom called it Irish skin) and the only red lipstick that looks decent on me  is Revlon's China Glaze Red.

@Nana2158

I have been looking for Pink in the Afternoon for months!

Most places near me that carry Revlon don't seem to stock the lipstick.  I'll have to check Ulta or someplace.  There are a few of the older shades I love, and the Walmarts and CVS stores only seem to carry the newer lip products.

It's a beautiful pink!

Re: Revlon Red Lipstick Labeled Warm,Cool Or Neutral

I think that it is an awesome idea to sort lipstick that way.  I love Revlon lipstick too!  My Mom wore Cherries in the Snow starting from the 1950's.  Some time later in the 70's or 80's when she was older she switched to a softer shade, think it was called Make Mine Mauve.

So Revlon has some sweet Mommy memories.

I wore another Revlon red, Fire and Ice, many times through the years.  But I think it would be too bright for me now.

I'll have to check out the new display 😀

When our Rite Aid closed (end of an era as Hubbs says) and I got a few Revlon lipsticks for very low prices.

@Nana2158   I like Revlon lipsticks. I'm not familiar with "Pink In The Afternoon".  Is it a blue pink or a warm pink?

  I can't wear blue pinks and with my very fair warm skintone, I like Revlon's "Gentlemen Prefer Pink". Whenever I see it, I pick one up. I don't want to be without it,if it is ever discontinued.
