It's a great deal, but the unit is super heavy. I had to return mine because I just couldn't handle the weight. It does a good job if you have the strength to use it.

I have the original one and that is a bit heavy also. I put some grip tape around the handle so I could grab it a little easier and so it wouldn't slip out of my hands.

@SilleeMee Yes, "Silly Me". This is the second one after returning the first one awhile ago. This one is a much better deal...like getting the case for free (which would never use) and much less expensive.

grrrr... I knew someplace would come up with a better deal . I just bought one from Amazon for more $s . oh well I got same day shipping and I had some credit card points to use.

I like it . I bought it because it was smaller than the previous one and had an extra setting. I haven't shampooed since purchasing , but am looking forward to trying it. It is fairly large.

I found a product by Keranique called 'lift & repair treatment spray' it says it protects against heat damage amongst other things.

To those who use the Revlon One Step what type of heat protectant do you use ?
