Revlon Nail Polish Rant...GRRR!

Hello Beauties!

Please do NOT purchase Revlon nail polish anytime soon!  It may have a well known name and a drugstore polish but is extremely low quality for the price.  I'm so disappointed after using a coupon to purchase this polish.  It is not worth the money and your better off saving your dollars.

The chipping factor is horrific even after just TWO days wear for my hands.  I don't have time to remove the polish for the next two weeks and will just have to do the best I can.  I guess this low quality polish will be relegated to my toes to use it up.  Ugh!

Your much better off purchasing the superior Sally Hansen Insta-Dri line nail polish for better polish wear and coverage with a fabulous price.

Sorry, beauties...just a word to the wise.  I wish I had been.

Re: Revlon Nail Polish Rant...GRRR!

same goes for Ulta nail polish! got some in little ice cream cone bottles for Christmas and chips off  after just 1 day!! tried it several times for a fair trial and always chips off after just 1 day. then when you go to take it off with remover it wont budge! you must rub & rub.

very odd! and disappointing for a store brand with its name on it! dont buy!!!

I only use OPI.  I do my own nails and my manicure lasts for two weeks.

I love my family, my fur boys, my Jayhawks and accounting!

I do the same thing except I have exceptionally good results with the much cheaper but hi quality polish of Sally Hansen Inst-Dri line of polishes with this polish also lasting two weeks as well before a change.

Another fan of OPI and Essie. Great wear time with both.

The best IMO is Zoya.  For many reasons, but I've found that nothing else lasts as long.  I also like Essie and OPI, but Zoya is my favorite by far.

Sally Hansen, IMO, is awful.  I've never once had luck with a Sally Hansen product.  I would take Revlon over Sally Hansen anytime.

Re: Revlon Nail Polish Rant...GRRR!

@NYC Susan You really should reconsider the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri line, particularly if you are a cream polish only girl like me.  Many YT reviewers like most of the cream formulas from the Insta-Dri line but I don't care for a couple that are jellies within that line.  I am a cream only girl.  Always have been.

Since I am unable to do a polish change for the next two weeks due to my crazy schedule, I am giving the Revlon polish one last college try to see if I can make it more chip resistant by putting on a nail hardener as a top coat on both hands after I reapplied the nail polish properly on those nails that chipped.  We'll see.  I let you all know.
