Re: Reviews of e.l.f. Translucent Loose Finishing Powder

I haven't seen the loose powder, only the compact solid powder. Is this new?

Re: Reviews of e.l.f. Translucent Loose Finishing Powder

I just purchased the e.l.f. SPF 45 finishing, sheer loose powder. I can't wait to try it out for the summer. Of course, I had to try their liquid blush ($3). Not too long ago I purchased my sheer finishing powder (not e.l.f.) so that's why I thought I would try the SPF 45 by e.l.f. The website I was on had 28 pages of e.l.f. cosmetics so I was having fun looking through all the products.

I got mine at meijer if you live where there is a meijer. It makes your face so silky smooth.

On 3/15/2015 redwinggirl said: Yes! Have it. Love it. It is similar to MUFE. I got a ton of E.L.F. cosmetics during their last 50% off sale. Their products are wonderful! I use the powde you mentioned with a Real Techniques brush after my foundation. I have oily, fair acne prone skin. It keeps me shine free about 4 hours before I have to blot. It is high quality for a fraction of the price. Hope this helps :-)

It's so close to the (MUFE) Makeup Forever HD Translucent powder that it has to be made in the same factory with the different labels slapped on the packaging for distribution by the respective brands. I used to buy the Makeup Forever powder until I discovered the E.L.F. version. Since then I just keep that one in my makeup case when for when I want to use that type of powder.

E.L.F.'s powder eyeshadows are also a good bargain substitute for those who cringe at paying $20+ per single color; $35 to $50 for doubles and trios; and over $50 for quads/palettes for high quality prestige brand eyeshadow. For single colors I don't wear often, and some frosted versions of neutrals I love -- I'll buy the E.L.F. version. I don't hang onto old makeup... therefore, if I toss it after a while before it's well used, I don't feel so financially wasteful tossing away a $4 shadow as I do with one which costs $25.

Just an fyi elf is having a 40% off sale on their best sellers (just stocked up again!). My local Wal-Mart carries this brand but their website has amazing deals. Their color correcting powder is $3 and I prefer it over the $30+ price of Laura Geller. Also - their products are vegan and have NEVER broken out my sensitive skin :-)

It is good. It has been compared to Make Up Forever HD powder.
