@monicakm and @RollTide2008 - I spray my Milani setting spray on a sponge and dab it all over the face. Works great that way too.

Thank you THANK YOU .@Beauties!! ... . not only for yr "product recommendations" (all of which I play to experiment with) ... but also for your "great tricks" you offer, (abt spraying "applicators")!
As I posted elsewhere, ... (for medical reasons, no cure yet), I perspire all too uncomfortably for me, (esp from the neck up)! .. even with/in the process of applying makeup, I perspire, (esp neck up)!!! .. even sitting, vs standing, applying makeup!. So "Primer Spray" &/or "Setting Spray" seems like a really really important experiment for me.
And after application, I'm sure, with moving around, the perspiration will start & continue!.. so "Primer/Setting spray" will help, I hope!
.. I LOVE, LOVE makeup sooooo much, & feel I look, (& feel), sooo much better wearing it! I'm going to keep trying!

Do you have a ceiling fan or any kind of fan in your bathroom? I do exactly what you do most months of the year. Mostly my face. I would have to just forget makeup except for Dec-Feb if I didn't have a ceiling fan in the bathroom lol
I'm about to order my "sweating drops" from Progressive Labs. I took these decades ago and then remembered them again last summer. It took 10 days of taking these sublingual drops for them to kick in. If you stop taking them, they stop working. IIRC, shipping is like two days. (For me) their website is pretty slow so I order via phone. The website is
progressivelabs dot com and the product you're wanting is D82. I'll be ordering 3 bottles.

If you sweat and live in Texas you NEED a setting spray. I don't use it during the cooler/colder months tho. Maybe like Dec-March/April but it could also depend on the event. Sounds like @TwinkleBell might be the same.

Thank you!! YEAH!!! ... More great suggestions!
Most of my perspiration issue comes from the top of my head, (from my hair), down my face. (embarassing to even share this)
.. I sit at my desk, & apply makeup, while a fan is blowing at my head.
...Virtually, the blood, struggles to pump, further up the body it has to go... esp to pump up as far as the head, (or even raising arms above the head!) ..such as putting items on the top shelf.. Many gals have this & dont even know it! They've adapted, asking for help with heights, without knowing it's a bonafide Medical Problem!
It's also, set off by sudden changes in humidity, temps, change in locales. Thus, patients have to be careful when showering, or this Dx can become as serious as as feeling faint .. or worse.. fainting!
... After swimming, I'd have to wait until the shower area was cleared of the humidity. But, no big deal.
Repeatedly, my (male) Specialist Doc, NEVER has any medical suggestions, in 22 yrs!! .. ('course, he (& his wife) are completely "au natural," & have no idea abt he criticality of "make-up issues" (incl the importance to me/us)
.. Yet, he knows abt this Medical issue, I ask him for suggestions.. Heck, he's a Specialist... many of us "gal patients" have this Dx.. many of us have stopped wearing makeup...not me tho!
. . . . even after 24 yrs.. Im not there yet.. I'm NOT giving up makeup/face care!..
.. I'm "hell bent" on continuing to work with this, to keep up with my makeup application! Trying different products, or procedures, any adjustments.
.. (For ex, apply quick false lashes, versus layers of mascara, ..
......or go for faster prep haircuts,
... or mastering a series of specific, "tried-&-true hair products," that make for seriously gorgeous hair colors)
.. I just thought Primer/Setting sprays would help A LOT, allowing (stages of) my makeup application to set.
.. Thanks to yr generous, expert suggestions... I plan to try ALL your suggested products, and/or ALL your suggested "tricks" until something works! . I continue to be sooo determined!
"Makeup" & "Face Care" will be the LAST to go, because of this medical lifestyle change! grrrr.. I've spend a LIFETIME of "makeup obsession" products & applications!..... I'm not about to stop now!
Makeup, Face Care, Kitties (& animals), & Ice Cream will be the LAST TO GO in my life!
THANKS AGAIN .. for ALL yr help!
.. If I cant share the need for help with this (embarassing) medical obstructive issue, with you fellow, devoted Makeup/Face Care gurus,
. . . . . . WHO COULD I share it with, for help!!! *hugs* . . . .

I just placed my order for 3 bottles of "sweating drops". If interested the name of the product is D82. Another thing excessive sweating does that a lot of people don't consider is it zaps your energy. I have MS so that's something I have to be mindful of. My cognitive can suffer greatly if I get too hot for too long
I just finished raking and sweeping tons of limbs/branches from last night's storm so that my yard man won't charge me as much when he shows up on Wed. Thank goodness it's a little bit cooler than it has been.

I think it is adding more chemicals to your skin. We never needed this until it was created.

@monicakm Thanks for your info website. Went to it immediately! WOW.. what great choices.
Hmm.. @monicakm another "AutoImmune Disorder," I'm not surprised with these other/same "perspiration" symptoms, (altho I *do not know* if other ppl's symptoms are related to their auto immune disorder, but oftentimes it is.
Here's some key words to look up, in case apply:
...or more specifically, ONLY ONE KIND, altho not only, specific kinds of these above, is:
~~~~~~~
(for example, specifically..
"Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS)" is a condition that affects blood flow. POTS causes the development of symptoms -- usually lightheadedness, fainting and an uncomfortable, rapid increase in heartbeat -- that come on when standing up from a reclining position and relieved by sitting or lying back down."
"POTS is a form of orthostatic intolerance," the development of symptoms that come on when standing up from a reclining position, and that may be relieved by sitting or lying back down. The primary symptom of an orthostatic intolerance is lightheadedness, fainting and an uncomfortable, rapid increase in heartbeat." (..and perspiring..)
~ ~~~~~~~
When I'm raking, I drink LOTS of (cold) water (well, I drink LOTS all the time anyway,) ...
.. but raking, I need frequent breaks from exertion. I make sure to SIT, or lean over, & lay my chest on the hood of my car, feeling my pulse for slowing, so that my blood has it easier to get to my head, (vs cont'd standing up straight).
.... (and I use ZipFizz tubes of powder, added to my water, up to 2-3 tubes/day, (to restore all lost electrolytes, (product also incl B-12, a little caffeine, & NO SUGAR..)
... and against my better judgement, ..... medically, Im required to ADD sodium into my diet.. (which goes against everything I thought was right!) .. A lot of sodium is lost with perspiring too." (My doc says drink V-8 juice.. yuck!)
Knowing all the research of "Dysautonomia," "Orthostatic Intolerance," & their recommended "lifestyle helps," I can make better adjustments for cosmetic applications like getting a fan, & great mirror for on the desk, incl stick-on 20x mirror for "applying makeup/mascara/false eyelashes *while sitting down,*"
..... (even tho Id known only to apply makeup standing in front of the mirror, for yrs).
... I try to use any adjustments to avoid standing, & save standing for, say, "finishing touches" like styling my hair.
Ppl who apply makeup, face care, hair care, might also have this same above medical symptoms/condition, (esp in women), .. & most esp if they have an "autoimmune disorder."
.. They might think it's "aging," or think it's nothing.. but it is indeed *something*!! It changes one's lifestyle, at a minimum! ...
For me, tho, takes more than the Medical communities "lifestyle changes," altho hopefully they keep trying to get to the bottom of this!
Sooooo.... I may/may not wait for my MD to clear your recommended "D82 #682" (since his expertise is Chemistry, & excites him)...
.... but regardless, (unless he says it'll kill me (which I doubt)) ..
... I'm going to order it anyway! heh
.... (I'm just not willing to give up "Makeup," & "face care!" (yet) heh
<-- I remain stubbornly in love with cosmetics!
...... I know "nothing but cosmetics," .. since before I was a pre-pre teen, sneaking on makeup on the way to school.. & removing it before returning home!!)
Not to be argumentative, but IMO, isn't that true of most cosmetics/skincare these days? Did I need mousse - no, but I like what it does to my hair. Did I need a primer - no, but I like what it does for my makeup/skin. Did I need vitamin C - no, but I like how it makes my skin look. etc etc etc.
I am not someone who spends a great deal of time on makeup, etc. But I will say that some of the newer items people have discussed on this board, have ended up being items I really like. I used to "set" my makeup by just pressing my damp hands onto my face or misting lightly w/ water and yeah, it worked on my face to set the powder makeup. But the All Nighter setting spray also sets my eyemake up and the rest of my makeup lasts, even in humid Seattle, for hours longer than doing nothing.
I do agree we should be cautious about what we injest into our bodies (which is why I avoid donuts, for example) or topically apply to our skin. To me that makes a great deal of sense. And if there is a horrible ingredient in a makeup item, I sure woud hope someone would share so we could all be better informed.
