Review of my Chanel No. 22 Dupe

I received my Chanel No. 22 dupe and it is very, very good! I couldn't be more pleased with it! I tested it two ways, first to see how I liked it independently of how my Chanel No. 22 sample smelled, and secondly with the dupe on one side and the original on the other.

This is a beautiful fragrance, and I would like it whether it replicated the original or not. First of all, it is perfume strength, and she uses 50% pure perfume oil rather than 25% which many in the industry use. The scent is very round and full, making a statement but not at all overpowering. And it lasts all day long! The drydown is the same as the original, with the lovely incense scent emerging in the dry down. A bonus is that DH loves it!

Trying it with the original "Exclusif" on the left and the dupe on the right, the first thing I notice is that the dupe is much fuller and more vibrant, but in a good way. I don't have the parfum of the original, but wonder how it would compare to it. The dry down is virtually identical, both in the way that the notes are revealed and the time when they appear. And the longevity superior in the dupe. I would say that the incense in the dupe is slightly more pronounced, but I have also read on blogs that it is more pronounced in the parfum than it is in the Exclusif.

So I am very, very pleased with this dupe! The seller is sending me somme samples of her other scents, including Chanel No. 5 and No 19. She sells her products on eBay and also in Tampa, FL.
