Review of Fiera Cosmetics Concealer

I'm sure a lot of you have seen the ads on Facebook.  Usually I just scroll right by all those beauty ads but after a while I decided to check out their website.  Its made in the USA, which I like, and its for mature skin - which I am.

I purchased the concealer in light and neutral beige.  The tubes are very small - .0.5 oz.  The light was too light so glad I got the neutral beige as I mix the two and its perfect.  Its very thick so I put a teeny tiny amount of each on my index fingers and rub together and then apply.  (This was suggested by many of the reviewers) and then I blend a bit with the included brush.  Even though the tubes are small, I use very little so the tubes should last a long time.  There is a bit of a learning curve with figuring out how much to use and the best way to apply.

I have tried so many other concealers, IT, TARTE, Maybelline, etc. and none really worked very well so had given up on concealers. This stuff is amazing. Doesn't settle into my lines, does a good job of covering the darkness under my eyes and doesn't make me look older!  So many of the other concealers I tried made me look so much worse and older but this doesn't.  Yesterday I kept looking in the mirror to check on it and it lasted all day and never once looked dry or settled into my lines.  It looked good all day.  I did not use a setting powder so not sure how it would look if one was used.

It is expensive compared to other concealers but was willing to give it a try anyway.  So far, I'm glad I did.

Interesting.  I'll have to look into this.  I've been using IT for years and have been thinking about trying something else.  Tarte recently came out with a "creamy" version of their concealer.  Was thinking about looking into that one too.

@monicakm I tried the "creamy" version of Tarte's shape tape and it didn't work for me.  Still settled into lines and seemed to accentuate all the issues around my eyes - darkness, lines, etc. and after while I thought I looked worse than with no concealer.  Haven't tried IT in a long time.  You may also want to try Laura Geller's real deal concealer.  She said at her last visit that its creamier and not drying like before. If I didn't like the Fiera brand, then my next was to re-try both IT and Laura Geller.
