Re: Review: Revlon One Step Volumizer 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush

@justashopper  Thank you so much for your detailed review! Hmm...I did consider this, but for now will hold off on this hair appliance. I do see how the oval lifts more at the roots, hence the added volume.

Anyway, my hair is a bit longer, and definitely not fine. The quickest way for me to zhuzh up my hair is w/ a few hot rollers. Maybe someday I'll find oval ones! Smiley Happy

I use  this Revlon hair tool and really like it as well.  My hair is chin length and very fine.  I also notice that I can go an extra day without shampooing, but I'm not sure why that is.  Both of my DILs purchased one after commenting on the improved look of my hair.

I have the Revlon tool. I use it to finish my style. I mostlydry it with my regular dryer and then finish with the Revlon. I love it. I a ve an expensive DryBar heated brush and that I should have returned. The Revlon for 40 is a super deal.

I love the Revlon hot brush,

I did have a Dyson and while there were some nifty things with the Dyson, it didn't leave my hair as smooth as the Revlon did

Re: Review: Revlon One Step Volumizer 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush

I have a l'ange dryer brush and have used it for about a year.  My hair is wavy, a little past shoulder length.  It does get very hot, but I turn it off while re-clipping my hair, so that helps cool it a bit.  I love it!  It adds volume and smooths my hair nicely.  I really notice a difference in the back.  It was so hard to do with a dryer and round brush.   I air dry my hair almost all the way.  It's also great for 2nd day hair -- just spritz a bit and dry again.

I have the Hot Tools version of this and love it. To avoid damage, because it does get so hot, I use it at most twice a week, use a good heat protectant, and air dry or rough dry with a regular hair dryer to get my hair 85 to 90% dry first.

Re: Review: Revlon One Step Volumizer 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush

TY @justashopper  great timing for me. I have watched YT videos and did my duty searching. Your post is very helpful. I went to my go to Amazon and see there is a 2.0 with a smaller brush 2.0+ " (?) and a medium setting(?) and a few more $s of course. Smiley Happy I have chin length hair and was wondering about the larger size. I think I will go the extra$s due to this. I have old age shoulder pain and think this may be an improvement over the brush and dryer combined. I have been dropping one or the other lately!

I had a con-air product I purchased years ago which I use in an emergency (when hair is going up when I want down Smiley Happy ) but it heats up way too much and takes a long time to cool.

Hi @Shanus

I did.  It's at the top of a very long review lol.  I have chin length, layered, fine hair and the barrel size seems fine for me. I am keeping an eye out for breakage.  This does concern me.  The heat of the tool didn't bother me.  But It could become more problematic with time and I don't like the weight.

Is this a perfect tool?  No..  My arm hurts just thinking about it.  LOL

Great call out about the heat protectant.  I will look into that.  TY!
