Returning My Malibu Pilates Machine

The entire thing just turned me off. It took me a good 20 minutes just to remove the plastic off the unit. Then, some of the plastic is bolted down under the unit. so there's no way to completely remove it. No matter what they claim at HSN, the setup isn't a breeze. I've set up high quality equipment, & the Malibu chair is a PAIN to work with.

When I was putting the unit together, I discovered that one of the side arm handles doesn't fit in the socket (or holes). No way you can make it fit (this is an ongoing issue with the machine). That did it for me. I didn't even try the machine...wasn't interested after that. I really don't feel this is a quality piece of equipment. I can easily see the faux leather (plastic) seat & foot cover disintegrating with use...it's CHEAP.

I called HSN & told them about the defect, & that I wanted to return the machine. They said fine- we'll wave the return fee- just drop it off at UPS. Ya, sure....the box is huge, VERY HEAVY, & would never fit in my car (I told them this). They said they would send UPS to pick it up....BUT it MAY TAKE 3 WEEKS! I told them other companies do a 24 hour pickup....the rep said they were sorry. Never again HSN. I'll just stick with Lessman's vitamins & call it a day. {#emotions_dlg.glare}
