It seems like when I use retinol on my neck it looks worse. Is it okay to use retinol products on the neck?TIA!

Using retinol on my neck doesn't work.  For one thing it burns, turns red and looks more wrinkly.

I can only use major moisturizing and don't use anything with retinol.

I'm using PC Clinical Retinol 1% and also apply it to my neck. I haven't experienced any problems. In the past, though, with other retinol products, I did get some irritation.

Sometimes that can happen and you almost have to tough it out for a short period of time and give it a chance to work.  I don't apply Retin-A to my neck, but I do use a 14% AHA pad on my neck every morning.

My girlfriend started using it on her neck and chest several months ago and wow, it has really made a difference! She also applies it to the back of her hands and her hands no longer have the age spots and they look much much younger now.

@Chisos  I "make" my own, sort of.  It's the Alpha Hydrox Intensive Serum (which I think has a new name now, since they redid the packaging and website) and these single layer, paper thin, round, cotton pads that I ordered from Amazon.  I had a jar that the pads fit in so I put a stack in there and poured enough of the liquid over to saturate them thoroughly - refill as needed.  Using these particular pads, there's no waste the way there would be with a thicker pad that would absorb too much product.  When I ordered the pads, they were so stinkin' inexpensive that I purchased a large quantity so I'm set for quite some time into the future.

I've been using 0.1% for about 2 years now.
