I have seen them in the past.. . and they look great on the model. I'm not so sure that they'd be a good look on my face.

If you really like them and have the money to spend on them, then go for it.

I liked the analogy used that they will come out to around a dollar a day per wearings over a year !

Life is short.  If you can afford them and you are going to feel fabulous every time you put them on, why not?  
I was shopping with DH awhile back, and I saw a silver cuff that I fell in love with, but it was $$$.  DH asked if I was buying, and I said no, that it was spendy, and he looked at me very seriously and said, if not now, when?

Neither of us are getting younger.  
Yea, you know how it ends.... the cuff came home with me!

Can you try them on before purchase? or return if they don't meet up to your expectations?  There are so many times I thought something would be really great and it fizzled on me.

Yes, I said I would spend $150 on them.  Do I have any business spending $300 on a pair of sunglasses?  NO!   Would I feel guilty?  Yes but I'm sure I could get over it.
