I have used Redken Blonde Glam shampoo for years and there is nothing else like it. I have blonde highlights and it just brightens them up and makes my hair shine like crazy. I was sold when I started using it and got compliments from complete strangers on my hair color. I noticed that when I didn't use it - no compliments. LOL Well, guess what? Yes, they have decided to discontinue it. What? SO many people on their website are upset. I knew when Ulta had their liter sale and didn't have this shampoo that something was up. So I have bought three liters online! I don't know if shampoo has a shelf life (???) but I can't stand the thought of being without this shampoo. If you are a fan like me better get out there and stock up!
I have a HUGE bottle of purple Rusk Sensories Bright shampoo that my boss's sister (hairdresser) bought for me probably 5 years ago. It's about half full and still seems to be just fine. I have white hair and don't use it all that often (obviously) because the white will grab the color if used too often (think: Blue Haired Ladies). Anyway, Maybe I shouldn't still be using it but I am and I've had no problem-o. So sorry you're losing your fave!
Redk. makes me sick! Sebastian currently has a high shine shampoo and cond. that they advertise as being made from the same kind of mineral ingredients found in Blond Glam. I like these Sebastian products. Probably the best of all their products.
There are millions of products at least. I do like Blond Glam though, sorry it's gone. I hate all Rusk products. Why? I can' t really say why. I bet Marshalls will sell all the Redk. leftovers.
I don't like Rusk, either. Just never works for me. And yes I got my stockpile on Amazon. But I know it will eventually disappear. I hardly think I am the only one who was ever upset over losing a product that they love. But the rude comments are to be expected around here. If it makes folks feel better to do that then fire away! I can take it. Thanks for the Sebastian recommendation, ritas.
