I've gone back to once a day with the Current Body RLT mask.  Re-reading the manual (or maybe it was on their website) I read that using the mask longer or more often than the 10mins/day wouldn't increase the benefits or cause results to be seen faster.  Still waiting to see improvements on my smile "crinklies"

If you're asking about the Current Body mask, I'm not sure how it happened but it was a Capitol One  cash back offer that pushed the price down to the $251 price tag.  We have a Capitol One card but haven't used it in a few years.  We just don't use any credit cards anymore.  I used to shop online exclusively with a cc since you're better protected with one rather than a debit card.  I didn't do anything to prompt a Capitol One cash back like TopCashBack or RetailMeNot.  It just popped up on it's own.  I wasn't asking questions!

I got an email from Capitol One today saying I could save over $6 on

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright+ Vitamin C Eye Crème.

I've already bought it and can't reply to the email I was sent.

If you have a Google Home or an Alexa, you can always tell one of them to remind you every day to use your gua sha (g)

@monicakm started my gua sha routine, 2 days in a row! Maybe I need an accountability group, its fitness for the face afterall Woman LOL

My currentBody order is on its way too, expired coupon worked + 3pc skincare kit. I thought they will cancel on me for coupon error but its on its way scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I just needed one more step to my protracted skincare routine Woman Wink

Soooooo, I'm thinking about getting the NovaaLab RLT Pad.  It's not a mask, but a large flexible pad meant to be used for pain relief.  It has both Red Light and Near Red Light, and has a neoprene band to secure it.  I remember the Hot & Flashy lady mentioning this type as an option.  It's about the same price right now as the masks since they're running a sale, but more flexible in that you can use it anywhere.  It is NOT battery opereated, but I actually find that a bit of a plus since I wouldn't have to worry about another battery going bad.  I also read somewhere when I was doing some research that the Near Red Light really needed the extra power to work properly.  Of course, that could've also just been a sales pitch since it was a site that sells RLT products, which I take with a grain of salt.  Everybody's gotta have a selling point that makes theirs better.

I would just lay it or secure it across my face and just keep my eyes closed during th treatment time.  Guess I would need a timer to know when to remove it.  It didn't seem like the mask was really amenable to doing other things while it was on anyways.

I do part of my daily exercise workout while wearing my mask. Ten minutes goes by so fast! I really love not having a plug-in device but I totally understand the concern about the battery going out.

@SilleeMee I go to the gym for exercise, or work out in the yard.  I just won't exercise at home.  I have to make myself get up and go or I won't do it.  It's got to be first thing in the morning.

Having had battery issues multiple times with my computer and my Hairmax while traveling to altitude, I'm okay with being tied to a cord.  The computer may be partially my fault since I wasn't letting it discharge, but the Hairmax is supposed to be plugged in at all times except when in use.

I also noticed some were a little uncomfortable with the light or fit of the mask such that it was letting the lght get in their eyes, so for me it's like why chance it?  I can't think of anything I might want to do that wouldn't require me to put on reading glasses anyways.

My mask was delivered last Friday and I began using it 1 time per day in the a.m. and my hand held blue light device 1 time in the evening.  I am enjoying using each of these but I can't say there has been anything to report.  I am hopeful in the future I will see improvements in my skin due to rosacea which makes me totally different then most users here.

What I am really glad about is that I am not having a negative reaction to using these products which is always a huge risk having this disease.

@Icegoddess I wanted to add something about your post....I would be concerned with laying that pad over top my eyes.  Please ask them about this before you do that.  I find the lights from these products to be really bright.

I like to do my mask 1st thing in the morning....just like Hot&Flashy does. I do wipe my face with a damp cloth to remove any lotion from the night before then I use the mask and relax for 10 mins.  It is such a short amount of time and not a issue at all.  THen I go make a coffee to start my day Woman Very Happy

I started using Red Light therapy with the Hair Max about 6 weeks ago. I'm not growing hair yet, but I have a really bad knee that needs surgery which I'm trying to put off. So - of course I tried the Hair Max on my knee - and it gave me a good deal of relief!

My next trick was to research the heck outa this technology to see how I could get more bang for my buck on Amazon for various devices for use on various body parts, including my face.

I settled on a "Mohtue" red light belt, which is similar to your NovaaLab belt. It's certainly offbrand, but at $65 it was worth a try. I used it on my knee last night and wow - what a difference this morning! So I used it again for 20 mins this morning and I'm so much more functional today.

I'll be making a tent out of it and trying it on my face next.

It has a timer on it and 4 different intensities. I used it on 4 for my knee  for 20 minutes and I'll try it on 2 for my face for only 10 minutes.

While it includes a regular power cord with the timer, it also has a little cord that you can connect to a power brick with a pocket to put it in. That way you have the option to carry it around the house if you want to.

I'm very impressed with this little gizmo!

P.S. It also comes with tiny goggles that you can use if you are light sensitive...

@tsavorite I was thinking about using some sort of eye protection whether it be sunglasses (which I have) or protective goggles (which I'm sure I can get on Amazon).

Speaking of your rosacea, since it's supposed to help with that, I'm hoping it will also help with some broken capillaries on my face.

About the blue light, I was watching a Youtube video of a pair of Dermatologists (brothers I think) reviewing some of the masks, and they mentioned that the blue light COULD exacerbate dark spots for those who have an issue with those.

@SchippyLuv

Hairmax uses laser lights in their products. Those are not the same as the red LEDs used in red light therapy devices. The light technology is different in each of the devices. I'm actually surprised that the Hairmax did anything for your pain.
