@SilleeMee @GenXmuse @JeanLouiseFinch now that you've had your red LED masks for a while, are you seeing any results?

Re: Red LED light mask

[ Edited ]

@Texasmouse  I'm experiencing an improved evenness to my skintone, improved firmness, and some tightening, especially around my eyes, and the corners of my mouth aren't so turned down anymore to where I look like I have a RBF. The tightening caused around my eyes has resulted in a more open eye and reduced hooding.  I still have some hollowness under one cheekbone, and a jowl on one side is a little more pronounced.  That could be a combo of age and rapid significant weightloss.  IMO, these devices and products can help restore and/or maintain the quality of the skin, and give somewhat a more youthful overall  appearance, but none of us are going to get enough volume to look like we're in our 30's or 40's again -JMO. It's not going to change the underlying muscle.  I'm happy with ithe mask.  My goal was to look as best as possible for our daughter's wedding, and it's done that, but I'm glad I got it on a good sale.  I don't know that I would have paid full price for it.   I've been doing two treatments daily, most days, but will likely back off to a less demanding schedule after the wedding.

My lips are more full and even looking from using my RLT lip device.  That's a quick treatment - 3 minute sessions.  I've been doing two daily with it as well and will likely stick with that since they're so short.

@Texasmouse

I can also say the same as @JeanLouiseFinch . I will add that my skin has become really smooth and light bounces off of it. I almost feel the need to mattify it a bit sometimes. Also the small broken caps have reduced redness so my skin looks more clear.

Another thing with the lip device is that it has brought color back to my lips...a youthful pinkness to them now. Not sure about anything else yet b/c it's still early on in the treatment with almost 4 weeks done so far. 8 weeks is when they say to expect significant changes with the lip device.

@Texasmouse I have the Omnilux and give it glowing review too,  It is very pliable and has two adjustment straps that allow for a comfortable fit.  It has three blue indicator lights to alert you to its charging status.  I am seeing the results that @JeanLouiseFinch and @SilleeMee have mentioned.  I got mine from my derm's office and it was on a special pricing (that I discussed in the first red light mask thread).  I paid comparable to the Current Body mask but I just happened upon the deal.   It is so much easier to use than the hand held light stim that I had and stopped using.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@JeanLouiseFinch @SilleeMee @Jk9 thank you all for your reviews.  I'm excited to try one and am hoping there will be a Black Friday sale or something closer to Christmas so I can convince DH to get it for me.  🙂

I've only been using my mask for a couple of weeks and while I like it a lot, I don't notice much improvement yet.

However, I've also been using an RLT belt for my left arthritic knee for over a month. Last night I compared the skin tone to my right knee. Low and behold, my left knee skin is smooth and glowing, while my right knee is very wrinkled...

So I'm planning on buying a skirt with a slit to show off my new, very sexy left knee! Smiley Wink

Yesterday while I was on one of my frequented websites ( it's a weather info site and has nothing to do with skincare) I saw an ad there for a CurrentBody RLT mask, the price was $297 so I clicked it, took me to their website and there is was at that low price. I also saw another ad for the lip device which showed a low price, too, for that one. I get those ads because I visit the CB website occasionally and they track me and then I see those ads....you know how that goes.

@SilleeMee thanks for the info! I've got my eye on the Omnilux one and I also want to get the one they have for the neck/chest. 🙂
