Recommendations for lighted makeup mirror?

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a makeup mirror - lighted option  (like sunlight?) and portable (meaning can be used with batteries or stays charged for a while).   I'm also looking for a 1x/10x or something that offers pretty close to the 10x magnification in addition to the regular magnificaiton.  Please let me know what you like.

Thank you!

If you want to see a great mirror go look at Simplehuman mirrors.

@moonandthestars  Are you sure you want one?   I find them very annoying as the light creates a glare and I can't see what I'm doing.   I ditched the cord (and light)  to mine.

I have V32466.  I've had it for a lot of years.  It looks like it's about sold out on the q.  The batteries last forever.  I see it's only 5 magnification, but it seems brighter to me.  Love it and it's reasonably priced.

@Kachina624My Floxite is so old that it quit working. My husband put a new cord but it still didn't work. So I cut off the cord and use near a bright lamp.

I have a Conair and love it.  Also the replacement lights can be found at BB& Beyond so that isn't a problem.

I just bought the Ihome 9 inch. You can use if plugged in or it charges for portability. It has a 1x and 7X magnification. It is super bright. I got it over the superhuman because bestbuy had it for $99. That was a steal. If you would decide on either the superhuman or this one bed bath and beyond has them and you can use a 20% off. Also the Ihome has 1x the simplehuman is only a 5x

Well, I don't have the greatest light to work with.  I currently have a non-lighted mirror - it's very old and kind of barely holding together.  It's 1x / 10 x and I like the magnifications.  Now that you mention it, I think it would not like a corded mirror at all.  Definitely a battery operated one.  I assume I can either choose to light it up or not, right?

Yes, I think I should look more at the floxites.  I do want a two sided mirror.  One with regular magnification and one with more than 5.  I think 10 is perfect, but maybe 8 is ok.
