I saw on you tube where Urban Decay has a shadow base but it caused my eyelids to be rough and itchy.

I ended up with a reaction to the Milani shadow base, switched to Nars and/or MAC Painterly and haven't had any issues since!

I've used canvas, touch base from Clinique for years. If i stray, i always wonder why and return to canvas!

What is the best way to apply the eyelid primer?  Finger, sponge, brush, or does it really matter?

I don't think it matters. I just use my finger.
