Recommendations for a Eye Cream

Hi Beauty Babes!!

I have tried many eye creams.... I mean who hasn't....

They all seem a little too thick for me to use every day.  Usually after the 2nd or third day, I get a little pimple....

I have pretty decent, but dry, middle aged skin, not a lot of wrinkles but I do like some plumping.  My under eye concealer is  the Tatcha Brightening Pearl.

The most recent eye creams I have tried are the Tatcha anti aging and the Josie Maran Pink Algae.  Neither are right for me.

Anyone have a suggestion for a light eye cream?  Something maybe in a gel form would be better?

I'm open to all brands and price points.... but I do prefer cruelty free/vegan.

Thanks for reading.  I hope everyone enjoys this Saturday before Thanksgiving.  I am actually going to a photo shoot at my gym.  The owner asked me to come be in some shots that will be with others in a class setting.  So that's pretty fun and exciting!

What are you up to today?  I hope it's good!!

Paula's Choice has 4 formulas of eye creams (gel, different ingredients etc.)  Her products are fragrance free, no animal testing, none in jars and guaranteed for 90 days.  If you sign up for her emails you can get 15% off as a new customer.

@justashopper

You're right about one thing - we've tried so many!

Not inexpensive, but that gel consistency you are asking for, and very effective in hydration and for that extra eye support -- Dr. Kaplan.

He does use an extensive ingredient deck, and some seem to have irritation, (I have no clue as to what) but not me. I really love it!  Yes, cruelty free.

Oh yes, have to agree with @Harpa - we all have tried so many.  The two that I like the most - for now - are the Elemis collagen eye cream and Pacifica Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream.  The Pacifica eye cream is cruelty free. I am using the Pacifica now and liking it a lot and its about half the price of the Elemis eye cream.  I ordered the Pacifica eye cream from ULTA and the Elemis from QVC.

Most eye creams do very little for loss of volume under the eyes which shows up as crepey, loose skin with darkness. Don't expect miracles to help those things by using an eye cream. But if you just need hydration then use your regular moisturizer.

Re: Recommendations for a Eye Cream

About two weeks ago I started using Bee& Fleur eye cream, after reading many good reviews about it. I have to say, it's done wonders for my dark circles. Only a little improvement on the puffiness. It's light enough that it absorbs pretty quickly and it isn't greasy. I'm 66 years old with slightly dry skin. It's clean beauty and I purchased it at my local Rite Aid for $24.99. I have to say it works better than some of the $80.00 eye cream I've used. Hope this helps.

I use  a lot of Pacifica products, both skin care and makeup, their eye shadow palettes are fab, I own 5 of them, just bought their Cherry Shimmber liquid lip balm in a tube. I get good deals on ebay.
