Re: Recommendations for High SPF that doesn't smell

I use the Josie Maran SPF 47 moisturizer ( the one that's not tinted)

Re: Recommendations for High SPF that doesn't smell

For the face I like Josie Maran Daily Moisturizer spf 47 and also CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion broad spectrum.  For the body I like Elta MD but it is a bit pricey.  However, its the only one I've found that doesn't feel like I've smeared paste all over my body.  I don't like to use the chemical sunscreens because they irritate my skin, especially my face.

@windfall but the Cerave one you mention DOES have chemcial sunscreen in it so I am confused? Three of them, in fact:

Active Ingredients: Homosalate (12%), Octinoxate (7.5%), Octocrylene (2%), Zinc Oxide (3.5%). Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Niacinamide, Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate and Boron Nitride, Dimethicone, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6-II, Ceramide 1, Cholesterol, Hyaluronic Acid, Phytosphingosine, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum.

You're right, I stand corrected!  For some reason this one does not cause redness or make my eyes burn like others I have tried.

Re: Recommendations for High SPF that doesn't smell

Another vote for Josie Maran, not tinted.  Use it on my face, neck and hands,   I live in South Florida, swim outside and don't have a single freckle on my hands.  I also use it inside when I'm sitting by the window and I think this makes a big difference.

For my body I use my supermarket brand.
