Rec for wp mascara AND remover

I'm fortunate to have long eyelashes that are dark so for as long as I can remember, I've been using Maybelline clear mascara. I'd like to try a black mascara for a little more drama but don't have the money or will to go through lots of trial and error. I thought you ladies could recommend a reasonably priced waterproof mascara AND a no fail remover. The remover is really key because I don't want to lose lashes but I want to get the mascara completely off each night. Thanks!
