Reassure me, please? Cleanse and Remoist after Color

I just got back from having my hair cut/highlighted. I plan to cleanse about 3 hours from now, followed by an overnight remoist treatment...this should be OK, right? I know stuff can happen with color sometimes ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$ , but just in general.

It will be fine - I've done it for years and so have a lot on the board. That's what Chaz does in his salon. Even in your salon, don't they shampoo and condition after they color? WEN won't strip your color and will help the condition of your hair.

Thanks, okiebug! This is the first time I've colored since going "full-on WEN" in January, so I'm a little nervous. Can't wait to try the Remoist!

I've been doing that since last June. Not only does my color stay great, but as color can be hard on hair, I haven't had any dry brittle or breaking hair since! My hair stylist has been really amazed that she's only had to do root touch-up on my hair since November.

Glitzandglam and Vermint, you can totally do a remoist/oil treatment after a color!!! Chaz always does a remoist on every client who has a color service done and they always turn out beautifully from the pics I've seen. Wen is great because unlike poos and cons, it doesn't wash out your new color...in fact it kinda repairs your cuticle so the color stays in better, IMHO.

When I get roots touched up, I always bring my Wen to the salon, and I try to do an oil treatment/remoist afterwards...That doesn't happen alot because I'm pressed for time always--so I just add more oil to my scalp and gently comb it through. For me, it helps settle things down after a chemical service and get my scalp back to feeling good again. And an overnight remoist is amazing for strengthening your hair and infusing it with moisture!!
