I just found a really nice lip balm from Chap Stick - a big surprise for me since I haven't normally liked the brand very much. This one is "100% Natural Lip Butter" in Sweet Papaya. It's so creamy and very moisturizing - all for $2.99 at Walgreens today. For lip balm junkies like me, it's worth a try!

@jannabelle1 I have to check this out. My Blistex Herbal Answers is getting hard to come by & I haven't found anything that works as well.

I don't want to get too many ahead. I don't want them to go rancid.

Does anyone use IT Je Ne Sais Quoi lip balm?  I see they also offer a lip serum.  Between the IT lip balm and (don't laugh) Colourpop's Hello Kitty Lip Sugar Scrub and Lip Mask, my lips have stayed buttery smooth during the coldest winter we've had since early 1980s

My 86 year old dad has had cherry Chapstick in his pocket for as long as I can remember.  For Christmas I bought him a whole box of Cherry Chapstick Smiley Happy

That put a smile on my face. May god bless your grandfather with years of using his cherry chapsticks!

@jannabelle1   I will have to check that out.  The expensive ones I have used are nothing to brag about and would not purchase again.

My masks are really tearing up my lips now that I'm able to be out longer. I've changed from balms to Aquafor. I have a small tube in my bag that I can reapply when needed.

@Shanus you're better off with Aquafor as a lot of lip balms cause dryness which just makes you reapply more lip balm, causing this "lip balm addiction" which is a vicious cycle. Dr. Dray recommends Aquafor as well as a few others like one from Vanicream.

Thanks Smiley Happy  He (my dad) has dementia.  It's one of the few things he still does.

@Texasmouse   Yes, always love and recommend Aquofor. It has other uses and great to keep in the first aid kit. You're so right about Chaqqp Stick and other balms causing dryier lips by the reaction of needing more applications and it wearing off.

My Dad kept one always in his pocket, in the car...everywhere... and still had dry, cracked lips. I put Aquafor on him (under duress) and he was forever grateful.

With mask wearing, RA gravitating to my lips, and having to be in winter weather the last 7 weeks, my lips and lower face were one peeling mess.  Josie Maran lip balm to the rescue!  Within a couple applications, it was under control and is now gone.  I can't leave home without it.
