I use  both sponges and brushes depending on the makeup and coverage I want.

@monicakm I have this brush. It's very densely packed and hard as a rock. It's like putting your makeup on with a piece of Styrofoam.

This looks like it might be good for self-tanner application.

most of my brushes are RT and they have held up very well, 

 

have not used that one
