Hoping to get a discount for fluttering my eyelashes at the salesman 😉  if it's a sales lady, I guess I'm out of luck LOL

Not necessarily. Even fluttering eyelashes at a salesman might not work. I think you know what I mean. Woman Very Happy

  • Well I fluttered my long whispy lashes for 150$ off the price of my new refrigerator.  That went a good way towards the extended 5-year warranty.  It was already $300 less than the same fridge at Lowe's.  It's a Whirlpool.  28.3cf

I didn't put on a stitch of make-up today because I had my  hair color/cut appt.  I also get my eyebrows died to match my hair, so no need to make up my face for it all to come off.

I took a make up day off today. That is my Independence for this special holiday.

I will watch a movie with my husband tonight and than we are lucky to have fireworks that we enjoy from our bedroom window.

I hope everone makes this a good day in some way for yourselves.

Re: Ready for our 4th of July outing...

We live in the country and fireworks are going off all around us.  I would love nothing more to be outside with a glass of tea watching the show, if the trees aren't in the way, but it is 82 and humid and the night air is full of bugs that want to kill me. There is more activity this year than normal.  I'm so grateful the dogs aren't scared of them. It literally sounds like we're in a war zone! Can you imagine living in a country where this sound is an everyday occurrence and it's firearms not fireworks 😫
