I was at Aldi's yesterday and picked up a Lacura lipstick in RED VELVET. I FINALLY found a wearable red!!! I have tried MUF, Lipstick Queen, Clinique and MAC to name a few. THis is by far the best imho. It is creamy and doesn't have any orange. Also it really lasts and when it did finally start to fade, it didn't migrate to the outside edges of my lips.

I did blot after I applied and added a touch of clear gloss.

This lipstick is CHEAP, yet the quality is outstanding, It is made in Germany and the package states NO ANIMAL TESTING (a deal breaker for me). Also, it comes in a sealed box. The only downside is that Aldi's did not have any testers, so I had to go by the color displayed on the box. Also--there is not much color selection...at least not at the store I was shopping at.

RED VELVET worked very well on my complexion---I am late 40's, very fair, medium brown hair. I usually wear cool pinks and nudes.
