Rave about a cheap nail polish

I just bought LA Girls "Bronze Medal" and I put one coat over the top of Maybelline's "Mod Mauve" to get a peachy pink with gold highlights. It's not the sort of glitter that's huge, it's more of a dust effect. I've been looking for a pink/gold polish for months, since Joan Rivers discontinued the perfect shade, and am delighted to have found it even if I do have to make it myself.
