For anyone that has made their own RTM do you like it better than the RTM that you have purchased? I searched for it since I was thinking of trying to make it and have the recipe. I would just like opinions. Thanks in advance. (I couldn't respond to any old threads about making RTM since they were closed.)

Wondering if anyone has used the homemade RTM recipe and likes it. Since I haven't received any responses I thought that I would post again.

I remember seeing OP's post last month - sharing about the mixture of filtered water and little CC spray to hydrate her hair during harsh winter in Maine and it helped her hair. I could not find someone sharing her homemade recipe with fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm interested to read reviews as well.

Hi I make a homemade version,in an old 6once RTM spray bottle I put half full of warm to hot water then I add 6 pumps from a16 oz cc,6 pumps of styling cream and one dropper full of the oil. Shake it well, top off the bottle with cool water. I use all these in tea tree,it's for the kids I do this on there hair everyday before school.it helps with tangles and styles there hair nicely. I do prefer the original, however I use a lot of this on 3 kids and it works well. Good luck. Ps Chaz if you read thus PLEASE a large super size of the RTM for refilling small bottles a 32 oz would be niceSmiley Wink!!!

I was going to try to make my own homemade rtm but I always wanted the new seasonal rtms so I have not gotten around to it. I'm sure if you try it out it will be just fine since you can customize it to your preferences. If you try it let us know how it goes! I was going to mix SOB and 613 and see what I come up with....

I will try to make some soon just not sure what seasonal I would try to make in the RTM. The only styling creme that I have in a seasonal is SHP but I was thinking of making an additional SOB since I plan on buying more of the oil. I would have to substitute BGT or 613 SC since I don't have an SOB styling creme. I am not sure that this was ever offered but I do believe that some of the prior seasonals were never offered in a styling creme or maybe I missed them. Not sure that I will have good results but it is definitely worth it to try it.

Tea tree is good for preventing lice in children's hair too.I used to make a little spray of my own for my sons hair and one year he was the only child in the class that didn't get lice.He hated the smell though and was never happy with me about this.i use it when working in the yard on myself to prent spider bites and it helps.

Even a 16 oz. size of RTM would be great. I do like the idea of trying to make it. I may try mixing a seasonal with a different scent to make a variation of what you would buy. For example, WCM, cc, WCM oil and SAM sc.

I make my own RTM for each seasonal using the CC & the Oil ( usually from the 3 pc set. ) plus 613 styling creme. It's a decent copy and does what it's supposed to do, with the exception of being used as a face or body spray. This is for the hair only.

I much prefer the Chaz version, but constantly reordering RTM's gets pricey. If I get a Chaz version in a TSV, I make that puppy last! I carry the Chaz version in my pocketbook and use the homemade version at home- where I am alot.
