There are a few sets of RMS products currently on sale, on QVC, for some great prices. I picked up the foundation & brush kit and the legendary lip duo. I tried the foundation (#22.5) yesterday, for the first time, and I like it a lot. It's kinda thick but blends out nicely. The medium coverage is beautiful and it lasts all day. I did the color match on the RMS website and come up with two different suggestions, so I ordered the shade I didn't already have (#33)🤞.

@JeanLouiseFinch - When using the RMS foundation, do you use a primer? Do you apply with a brush or a sponge? Went to the RMS website and put in 2 different foundations and the recommendation was the same 22.5.
Edited to add: Went to the RMS website and watched how to apply the foundation. RoseMarie uses a dampened sponge.

@JeanLouiseFinch , I picked up the foundation from the site awhile back in the set with the new powder and also went ahead and got the primer. I had gotten the foundation before but wrong color so sent it back. I agree, great coverage and lasts all day.
@JudyL , I use her primer with it and it has been great for me. I have a deep wrinkle on each side of the mouth and whether it is the foundation, primer or powder, or all three, it has been one of the better for not settling in there. I use a Wayne Goss foundation brush that was one of his one-time releases a few years ago. I always go in with a sponge after to pat in but use a brush for starters.

@Wsmom and @JeanLouiseFinch - well you both did it again. LOL In a good way! You both "influenced" me to buy the foundation and primer. I have tried the foundation and primer in the past but it wasn't a favorite. I think because I didn't get the right shade. This time I did the shade match on the RMS website and got the same recommendation with both tries. So hopefully it'll be ok. Bought the foundation on the Q with it being on sale, then went to the RMS website where I got the primer using a discount code. Thanks, ladies!

@JudyL , I hope you like it. With this foundation I find I don't need a lot and I think between having the wrong color before and probaby applying too much was what I didn't like.

@JudyL - I used Spackle, since that's what I usually use, but I ordered the RMS primer lastnight from Amazon. It'll be delivered tomorrow. DH and I are leaving for a couple of nights away so I won't actually be able to try the RMS until Monday or Tuesday.
I found a swirly brush similar to the RMS brush in my stash, so that's what I've been using. However, I ordered a latex free beauty blender from Amazon too.

@JudyL - I had a terrible time with a foundation match! My skin is light and warm. I ordered the one I "thought" would be perfect when Rose-Marie first came to QVC (11.5). The host that night didn't help at all, letting Rose-Marie quickly name the shades then interrupting with something else.
I talked to other posters and was comfortable with what I got. But after it came I started second guessing myself, so I went to Blue Mercury. The one SA selected the one I had (I didn't tell them I already had it
), but the other SA didn't agree . They gave me samples to try at home. I went back and asked them to put one on one side of my face and the other on the second side. They did, and both of them couldn't decide. So I bought the one I didn't have (22).
I alternated for a while, then started mixing them!
Finally I made an appointment by Zoom with one of Rose-Marie's MUA's. I sat barefaced in a room with daylight. I liked her before we even began the session. I told her my story. She looked at me and called out number 22 right away. She said the other would be OK, and it matched, but my skin would look more vibrant with 22.
So now I wear 22. Once in a while I will mix 11.5 in with it.
I also have the primer. I like it, but I'm a LG Spackle girl! ![]()

Thank you @beach-mom. for your response. If the foundation isn't right this time, I will think about doing a Zoom with an MUA from the RMS website. Will see how I like the primer. Laura Geller's Spackle has never worked for me so don't have that one but have others if the RMS primer doesn't work.
