RMS Concealer - 2nd Thoughts

Well *sigh* it's just not working as well as I had hoped.  I am using 22.5 and have tried it with and without primer, setting spray, color corrector, powder and the blueness/darkness still shows through, it still creases, and bottom line, acts like every other concealer I've tried. Seems appliction with my finger works best.  Thank goodness no one will come up to me with a magnifying mirror and look at my underyes because up close it does not look good.  Standing at the bathroom sink looking in the mirror, it looks so-so.  I can still see the darkness and some creasing.  The darkness is minimized a little so guess I'll just have to accept that this is as good as I'm going to get it.  I did order the Laura Mercier eye brightening powder and will try it with that but not holding my breath.  I'm disappointed but not surprised as all concealers have been like this.  Will keep it and use it as it is a smidge better than the others that I have.  The one good thing - the shade is spot on for me.

What color corrector have you tried? Sometimes I use a pink liquid blush as a corrector. It works better for me than yellow, blue or peach or lavender. I hope you can figure it out. I'm going to experiment with my RMS concealer when I get it. Maybe we can figure it out 😏

Maybe a brightener would help. I use Becca brightener. I love it

@Midmod  - You are so sweet for wanting to try and help me figure this out.  Right now I'm using the Pixie peach corrector.  Have tried Bobbi Brown's and that didn't work.  Have tried Becca's corrector that Smashbox has and that didn't work either.  I'm done with trying to get concealers to work for me.

Re: RMS Concealer - 2nd Thoughts

I have three Bobbi Brown correctors too. They are better than some but not great. If you haven't tried a red or pink one, give it a try. Mine came from the dollar tree if you can believe it. I didn't want to put $ into another dead end so I went there and bought a L.A. Colors pink gel blush. It's actually good for a corrector. I like it better than anything else. It's a thin formula and doesn't settle into lines 🧐. But nothing lasts for me more than a few hours. I'm thinking my undereye area gets dry and needs moisture so I dab some Vaseline and there goes any concealer. So if you try more correcter, don't spend much to experiment.
I'm too stubborn to stop trying ❤️

I bet it doesn't look as bad as you think it does, we're so hard on ourselves...

IT....Bye Bye small tube thick.....put a spot of it on thumb, let it warm and  with a  FINGER DAB under each eye.  Blend slightly and with a sponge applicator from...TART...finish the blending area.

IT last all day & stays put till u remove.
