Re: RLT Mask Users

According to CB's website the LED mask wouldn't work unless one used all those steps? It sounds like a marketing ploy to get one to spend more money.

If the LED is as good as they say, it should be efficient with only a couple steps, not that many. I've read that LED masks work, but all these 8 steps seem unnecessary.

Of course that's a marketing ploy. The instructions which come with the RLT mask itself says to use it on clean skin that has been exfoliated. Skin care products applied after treatments.

Some people may want to remove hair from their skin just to eliminate anything between the LEDs and the skin.

I've been using my mask for about 8 weeks and so far I have smoother, firmer and more clear skin. It works for me.

Not all RLT masks are created equal. They need to have the right wavelengths of LED light to make them effective.

I don't see the need to make using the mask complicated so I just go ahead and follow the instructions that came with my mask.  I am concerned about getting the light to my cells and using on clean skin seems logical to me to accomplish this.  I broke out after using the green tea extract, so I stopped doing that.   I will consider buying a hydro mask from the company if I want to add something to using my rlt mask.  That's just how I choose to do it.

What?  No, I haven't seen that Smiley Surprised  And it's not what the directions say in the manual.  Do you put on any skincare before using the mask?

1 My face is clean when I use my mask

2 No

3 The Glow Recipe product is a PHA and BHA.

4 I can add HA

5 I know nothing about a hydro-gel mask.  Why isn't all this in the manual?

6 OK

7 I do not use clay masks and I never will.

8 No

@SilleeMee

Here are the ingredients in the Hydrogel mask CB sells to use under the RLT mask.  One mask is $10 Smiley Surprised  I may try using HA or use Glow Recipe PHA again.  I also have some masks that have crushed pearl as CB's Hydrogel.  It just seems like some hydration under the CB mask would be a good thing.  I'm going to Google and dig around to see what I can find on the topic.
