I purchased the sampler from HSN specifically to try this new "Los Angeles " fragrance. All items are sample sized and the light blue postcard  with a foil covered sample proved to be more than adequate to test this new, soon to be released fragrance. Do note there's a $10 coupon enclosed that can be used on any of the sampler items by August 31st. 

The fragrance opens with bright radiant notes of citrus and citrus blossoms that immediately reminded me of Wen's Spring Orange Blossom edp and its ancillary products. Although this was initially stronger, that favored and familiar scent was definitely there... while it took a bit for the middle notes to appear I find this to be very typical on me when I test and wear fragrance. Others may have a different time line, so to speak. I began to notice hints of soft lily of the valley while the top notes softened. Not overpowering or cloy, just a very pleasant soft floral. So far, so good.

The mid and base notes opened and I was ever so pleased to recognize a fragrance that was so very familiar to the original Pure Grace developing. This new edp is soft, clean, fresh with just the right amount of soap that made Pure Grace, Clean Ultimate and other similar scents with this type of ambience so favored. There is no doubt the "vibe" is there. It's been sorely missed.

I compared PG on one wrist and LA on the other. Yes, I still have a partial bottle of the original PG. PG was a little softer. Not to say LA was in any way over the top, just packed a bit more of a punch when compared. 

There will be no question of you or others not being able to smell this or it's lasting quality. The sillage and longevity are excellent. It lasted close to 30+ hours on me, until I bathed.

Some of you may have already received a sample. I understand it came in the duo cleanser Skinn TS a couple months ago. Or perhaps you purchased the sampler too. Please share your thoughts and let us know if you detect the same similarly as Pure Grace or Clean Ultimate.

Hopefully the Pure Grace Lovers will seize the opportunity to finally find an above average comparable dupe to replace the weak shell of the version that's available now. Talk about a win...

You are so welcome! I'm a perfume gal too. What are some of your favorites these days? I just ordered a 6 pc Tom Ford sampler from Nordies. Can't wait to get it. I ordered his sampler last fall which had some different scents. There were a couple carry over dupes this year but that's OK as I like them and don't mind. Then I'd ordered some full size TF and am truly smitten. And all of that came out of receiving a TF GWP in Oud Wood, which is just too incredible. Have you tried any of his fragrances? It's a big departure from Pure Grace but actually there's one in the latest sampler that sounds like there's a similar nuance. It's called Soleil Neige. I can't wait to smell it.

@rochelleS  My favorite is Jessica McClintock - people run after me on the street to ask me what I am wearing.  It is a soft floral.  I also love Modern Jess by Jessica McClintock - a little woodsier & also Number 3 by Jessica McClintock.  Her scents are never overpowering but soft.  I also love Weekend by Burberry, & Amazing Grace Bergamot.  Norell has always been a favorite, especially in the winter.
