American cars cost about $3,500 and we had no idea what a foreign car was

Milky Way candy bars were 5 cents

For 12 and under it was 25 cents to get into the movie theater. My girlfriend and I had to bring our birth certificates with us because we were tall for our age.

You could buy a 10 ft. live Christmas tree for $10

You knew just about everyone on your block and people looked out for each.
