Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

Yes and exclusively for about six months when I always used TT for my first cleanse. Before and after that I just use whatever I feel like or whichever formula is on my hair for second cleanse to "match" the scent, lol.

I have normal skin. I got a freebie LAV that my hair didn't like. I used it as a face wash and that didn't go well. I use it successfully as a hand wash.

HB, can I ask what the LAV did when you washed your face with it? I've used 3 different formulas on my face, mostly as a mask, but do wash with them occasionally...no problems so far, but would like to know what issues you had.

I'm with HB on the LAV. I did not try it on my face, but my scalp hated it. The reaction felt burnt and extremely cold at the same time, then my hair was lifeless and did not curl well. This after a year using WEN, so it was inexperience. Being as your scalp is skin, I don't think using it as a face wash was an option, but I do use BGT with my Mia 2 with no problems.

Ouch, that doesn't sound good! {#emotions_dlg.scared} I've used (so far) 613, LAV, POM, SGGT, WCM & FAS
with no problems. Of course, I do like some better than others. I agree, if it felt like that on my hair/scalp, I sure wouldn't use it on my face/body!

Thanks everyone! I used the TT this morning and my skin was so soft! I will be trying 613 or the SOB tonight!

It made my skin peel in my T Zone. It baffled me. If my skin is sensitive to something, I either break out in a rash (bumps, hives, etc.) or it gets extremely tight. But peeling? I peel after days of strong sun exposure; not washing my face.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

It was strange! There was no redness, itching, bumps...just peeling.

When I used Lav to cleanse, my scalp was fine but my hair didn't like it.
