Quick question about Timeless serums

In addition to the matrixyl Synthe 6 serum, I bought the CoQ 10 serum.  Last night I mixed them with my moisturizer and final step was the Korres velvet skin drink oil.  Before that I applied retinol and glycolic acid actives along with my hydrating products. Is this okay or should I move the Timeless products to my morning routine where there are less actives?  Morning active include vitamin C or lactic acid.  The rest is hydrating and moisturizing. Seems like maybe I should move the Timeless products to the morning.

Thank you

Re: Quick question about Timeless serums

All I can say is Hot & Flashy uses the Matrixyl together with Retinol.  I couldn't say about the CoQ10 or Glycolic Acid.  I use the Matrixyl Synth'6 in the morning as my serum.  It's all I use before my moisturizer.

Re: Quick question about Timeless serums

Your morning vitamin C will govern which other products can be layered with it. Also, lactic acid, or any of the other skin acids, when layered with VC can cause some irritation so do that with caution. Remember this chart?

In the morning I use Timeless Vit C and Timeless CoQ10, etc.  At night I use the Matrixyl Sythne 6 along with other serums, etc..

@JudyL I use the same ones in the morning except I alternate my Vitamin C serum with my copper peptide serum, every other day.

@Icegoddess

I watched Angie's videos the other night.  I was surprised to see her say she doesn't believe they need to be applied in any certain order.  First thing I thought of was @SilleeMee would be shaking her head and groaning lol

Yes, I do remember it but it doesn't appear to have the products I'm asking about...or does it?  I don't use C and lactid acid on the same days.  I did as you suggested and alternated them daily.  C one day and LA the next.  Also Niacinamide.  Retinol and GA are used at night.  Should I use the 2 Timeless products in the AM?

The matrixyl is a peptide. The Q10 can be used anytime, an enzyme/antioxidant which helps boost the effects of other ingredients.

Re: Quick question about Timeless serums

Using the matrixyl, Q10, retinol, retin A, (or tretinoin) sounds too complicated. I'm sure they work,but it would be too confusing to me to keep things in order. I'll stay with moisturizers that already contain vitamin C and niacinamides  and my twice weekly lactic acid. Maybe will purchase an oil serum to set everything. That's about it for me.
