Question regarding The GloPRO beauty tool.....

What is the “red light” for on the GloPRO beauty tool? Jamie never addresses this, just says to go to their website, that she isn’t allowed to address the claims that it does on TV. Why?

If you go to the Bioscience website FAQ page the answer is there.

It does not say anything about the red light having anything to do with red light therapy. RLT requires prolonged skin exposure to red light of a specific wavelength used to induce collagen. The GP tool is not one of these RLT devices and it doesn't claim to be one according to their website.

@SilleeMee Thanks so much for the link. I couldn’t find the information. Now I know why Jamie didn't address the red light therapy. It’s not on your skin long enough to do any good so why have it on the GloPRO. Doesn’t make any sense. 🤔

Re: Question regarding The GloPRO beauty tool.....

@Naturesbeauty

I own a RLT device, FaceFX made by The Silk'n company and it says to use it for 5 to seven minutes per section for a total of 15 to 20 minutes a session.  That's quite a bit longer than it takes to use the GP per session. If you asked me I think in the beginning, the red light on the GP tool was there as sort of a gimmicky sort of thing where people would think it did some kind of RLT.  Then later any claims about that must have been dismissed because the thing is not a RLT tool at all. The red light is just there to indicate there's battery power for the viibrating part of it...who knows.

@SilleeMee I have to agree. In the earlier times when Jamie would present the GloPRO they would mute some of her claims. I guess eventually we will learn not to fall for all the beauty gimmicks on the market and just be happy with ourselves and our looks.

You shouldn’t apply any type of skin care that is an”acid” before, during or after Dermarolling. Do your research. If you need to know more information try Gin Amber she has a very informative website on

There are other micro needling tools on the market for a lot less. I actually received one in my derm store beauty box.

This is such a gimmick!! The red light does nothing because its not in one place for long.Red light therapy is supposed to help with collagen production and aging.

You're better off going on Amazon and buying a roller for $20!! That's what I did after returning this crazy device and I have had good reults. The red light does nothing. It's all a marketing ploy.

Stainless steel rollers are what GP uses. SS is sharper (initially) and more hygienic. Titanium needles are plated (usually over copper or brass) and while they may be more durable, titanium is not as hygienic as SS which means titanium needs more attention to cleaning it. There are valid reasons why tattoo artists, medical professionals and accupuncturists use SS....it's just a better option.

ETA - I'm not promoting any one brand of roller...just wanted to say something about SS vs titanium.
