Maybe that's why I ❤️ my Nars foundation so much!

Re: Question regarding Primer + Foundation application

@SurferWife I use Nars Sheer Glow, but it still settles in my pores although the primers I use minimizes that.  I guess it's possible that the skin close to my nose is a darker shade because I have a natural blush which makes my foundation that's perfect around the outside too light for my cheeks and close to the nose.

@Icegoddess

This is the NARS foundation I use.  It's the Light Reflecting foundation.

Re: Question regarding Primer + Foundation application

@SurferWife I use Nars Sheer Glow.  I tried the Light Refecting one, but didn't really like it when I looked at side by side pics of myself in both. I felt like it looked harsher.

Funny, I was just looking a the shades on Sephora, and it seems my shade Mont Blanc, Very Light - Neutral appears to be darker than the Light shade with cool undertones next to it and even the Light shade with Neutral undertones, so I don't know how mixing those two shades would work.  I would like to not have it visible when it settles in my pores, but truthfully, I don't think anyone sees it.  Someone applying makeup on another person is still getting a much more up and personal look than others are.  But, it does go to show that when the hosts and vendors say if your shade is sold out just go one shade lighter or darker, "it's very forgiving" they're just trying to sell sell sell.
